As limited edition releases of Quiet Violence and Selected Songs on Ryko Music, the band wanted something that was incredibly memorable.
The final design featured artwork inspired by a 70’s edition of Playboy magazine, muted and understated yet impossibly complicated, it proved to be the perfect accompaniment to this immaculate collection of songs from one of the UK’s most enigmatic bands.
A collector frenzy saw copies of Quiet Violence appear on eBay with a £500 price tag within weeks of its release.
